Baby blues....

Our son Takeshi is due on August 23, just 5 short days away. However, he doesn't seem too eager to come out at this point. Having just started my maternity leave, I'm not quite ready to bring him home yet. We still have a bit of laundry and organizing to do. Not to mention I want the house spic-and-span to start with since I know I won't be up to much cleaning afterward!

Once we get everything at home ready, however, there is nothing I want more than to see my son! Although, part of that reason is because according to the doctor the only cure for this PUPPPs, is giving birth. Let me tell you ladies who have never experienced this: if you have already had your children and never had this, you are sooooo lucky. If you are looking forward to having children, keep your fingers crossed that this will not be in your experience. We are talking 24/7 head to toe to finger tip itching. A fork has become my new best friend.

First blog ever

So, half the girls on Keith's side of the family are doing this blog thing, so I might as well join in the fun. I'll be going on maternity leave in a week and once the baby settles into a routine, this may be a good way to fill time and keep in touch. I'm pretty bad at the latter. We don't really have many digital pictures, but my resolution is to figure out how to use the digital camera at some point before my son is born.
